Private Winter Sauna Experience in Finnish Lapland
Enjoy an authentic Finnish winter sauna experience in complete privacy surrounded by peaceful Arctic nature. Your reservation includes exclusive access to a traditional wood-heated sauna, outdoor hot tub, and ice swimming area by the beautiful frozen Lake Iso-Vietonen.
The wood-fired hot tub is located on the sauna terrace, allowing you to relax under the winter sky while surrounded by snow-covered scenery. During your visit, you can also experience traditional Finnish ice swimming (“avanto”) by stepping from the warm sauna into the refreshing icy water.
We prepare and heat the sauna, hot tub, and washing water before your arrival, so you can simply relax and enjoy the experience.
Next to the sauna, there is a cozy room for changing clothes and relaxing between sauna sessions. Please note that the sauna does not have a shower — washing is done in the traditional Finnish way using buckets and ladles. The washing water and hot tub water clean lake water.
On clear evenings, you may even be lucky enough to see the Northern Lights dancing across the Arctic sky while relaxing in the hot tub.

Good to know
Access to the sauna area requires stairs and uneven terrain and may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility.
Warm winter clothing is recommended between sauna and outdoor activities.
Price: €325, price includes 2 quests, extra quests €65 per person, maximum 5 people
Restrictions: People with mobility impairments cannot participate due to stairs to the terrace. Consult your doctor if you have health conditions such as heart disease, epilepsy, or asthma. Not suitable for children under 10 years old.
Cancellation: The experience is paid for at the time of booking. Free cancellation up to 7 days before the reservation. For cancellations made later, we charge 50% of the payment. No refund for cancellations less than two days before the event.
Notice: The toilet is a clean dry toilet, common in Finnish cottages.
We provide instructions on safely using the sauna, hot tub, and avanto. Follow the instructions carefully, as the sauna heater is hot and the steam can burn. Be cautious when making washing water. In winter, the terrace can be slippery, so move carefully. Follow instructions when going to avanto. We are not responsible for any accidents.
